Each bespoke engagement ring we create begins with a design consultation with our skilled jewellers. At this point in the process we start discussing your engagement ring design ideas. It can help to show us images or sketches for inspiration to help us create your vision.
Your initial design consultation can take place at our Hatton Garden Jewellery workshop, or we can work with you virtually, communicating through Zoom, Skype, Whatsapp & email!
Sean, our expert CAD designer will work with you to create a computer rendered image of the piece, this will give you a visual image of how your custom engagement ring will look in real life. At this point we can work as a team to customize your engagement ring, ensuring that we have truly captured your vision before going into production.
Our aim is to not only create the perfect engagement ring for you, but also to create a piece that lasts a lifetime. There are some instances when our client’s designs are not suitable for everyday wear, which is why we will discuss structural aspects of the engagement ring with you, to ensure that the final engagement ring is just as hard-wearing as it is beautiful.
Once you’re happy with your engagement ring design, it's time to choose your perfect diamond or precious gem stone.
When it comes to buying a diamond or precious gemstone there are generally some compromises that need to be made, whether it be in the carat weight, colour or clarity. We will go over the best options with you and discuss which aspect of the center stone is most important to you. This will allow us to help you choose the best stone that suits your style and budget.
We will show you an array of diamonds or precious gemstones according to your brief and specifications for you to choose from. At this point, we will educate you about your center stone and show you any flaws it may have, no matter how big or small.
Once you have signed off your engagement ring design and chosen your diamond or precious gemstone, we will start the manufacturing process.
